I take privacy seriously and I collect as little information as possible. This page explains what I collect when you use this website, why I collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Information you give me. If you use the contact form, I collect your name, your organisation, your email address, the subject of your enquiry, and the content of your message. All of it is provided voluntarily by you. If you would rather not use the form, you are welcome to email me directly.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this one is hosted by a third party and its servers record standard technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit. This is used to keep the site running, protect it from abuse, and block spam submissions.
What I do not collect. I do not ask for and do not want financial information, national identification numbers, health information, or any other sensitive personal data. Please do not include such information in your message.
I collect your information for one reason: to read and respond to your enquiry, and to continue that conversation if it leads somewhere.
Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, the basis for processing your information is your consent, given when you choose to submit the form, together with my legitimate interest in operating a secure website and responding to people who contact me.
I do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
I do not send newsletters or marketing emails, and I do not add anyone to a mailing list. If that ever changes, I will ask for your consent first, separately and clearly, and you will be able to withdraw it at any time.
I do not sell your personal data. I do not share it for advertising. It is seen only by:

My email provider, which delivers the notification of your enquiry to my inbox.
Anyone I am legally required to disclose it to, where a competent authority requires it under Saudi law.
These providers process the data on my instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
This website is hosted on infrastructure located outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This means that when you submit the contact form, your information is transferred to and stored on servers in another country.
Where the Personal Data Protection Law requires it, such transfers are made on the basis of appropriate safeguards and in line with the conditions set out in the law and its implementing regulations. If you would prefer your information not to leave the Kingdom, please contact me by telephone or in person rather than through this website.
I keep enquiries for as long as the conversation is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case it resumes. Where an enquiry does not lead anywhere, I delete it within 24 months.
You can ask me to delete your information sooner at any time, and I will do so unless I am legally required to keep it.
Under the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:

Data submitted through this site is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored with access controls in place. Only I have access to contact form submissions.
No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to cause you harm, I will notify you and the competent authority in line with the timeframes required by the Personal Data Protection Law.
This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function properly and securely. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not prevent you from using the site.
This site links to external pages, including my LinkedIn profile and published work. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else’s website and this policy no longer applies. I would encourage you to read their privacy policy.
This website is intended for professional audiences. It is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
